![]() | Kristine Hallbom is an international trainer, author and coach. She is the co-founder of the NLP Institute of California and theWealthyMind™program. She trains in many parts of the world including Europe, South America, Australia, and throughout the United States. She is a contributing author to Your Mind Power: Strategies for Behaviour Change (2008) and the best-selling book, Alternative Medicine—The Definitive Guide (1994); and has authored numerous articles about NLP, psychology, systemic thinking and prosperity. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex ideas into practical skills, and for her warm, approachable style. Kris has always had an innate passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams. She has spent the past two decades exploring the principles of self-organizing systems, NLP and spirituality as they relate to the human mind, manifestation, and behavioral patterns of success. She received her BA degree in Psychology and Languages from Southern Utah University where she first became interested in psychology, systems theory and the spiritual side of life. Kris began studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming during her undergraduate career, and went on to certify as a NLP Trainer. She later became involved in the field of Coaching, and has helped many individuals achieve their next level of success through her private coaching practice. In 1999 Kris moved to Northern California with her husband Tim, to run and operate the NLP & Coaching Institute, as well as the Academy for Coaching & NLP. Since then, her primary focus has been on providing practical skill based trainings to the general public, and life coaching to individuals. In July of 2000, Kris and Tim co-founded WealthyMind International, which offers the highly acclaimed WealthyMind™ program, and the WealthyMind™Trainer's Training in many places throughout the world. In her spare time, Kris enjoys reading, writing, traveling and contemplating the deeper mysteries of life. She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, Tim.
